This is my new spot for lunch when visiting the Charleston area. It was quite busy, however we were still seated promptly. The service was great, and I loved the seasonal drinks they offered. The food felt very fresh and clean. Definitely recommend.

The food was great. The service just okay. We had to ask several times for water and condiments. I still love this place even though parking is really pretty bad.

Eclectic menu, low key vibes, and nice preparation and flavors make for a winning combination. We went on a Friday night and found it pretty busy, so opted for a table in the enclosed patio for immediate seating. The menu is all over the place--a warning sign in most establishments. However, it worked here, as there was something for everyone--Italian to Thai, straightforward seafood to Southern comfort staples were represented in one form or another on the menu. We went with a starter of carrot-ginger soup, which packed some seriously good Thai flavors, but had an odd baby food texture that involved a lot of carrot bits. My wife went with a seafood pasta special that featured shrimp and sun-dried tomato with house made linguine in a creamy sauce. She loved it. I had the eggplant parm, which was only decent because it could have had a little more breading and been a little more tender. My son had a flounder piccata, which was served with mashed potatoes and was solid. Our entrees came out slowly (the server apologized for a large takeout order holding everything up). For desert, we opted for the carrot cake, but did not realize it would be served deconstructed--a mason jar full of cake and orange and green icing. A bit of a mess, but tasty. Overall, a solid meal and worth adding to my regular rotation. (3.75 stars).

Cute and casual spot with no problems walking in usually (nice in this town). Games on at the comfortable bar and a covered patio. Great soup/sando/salad options you can order in halves and share. Delicious bread with yummy gluten free option too. Healthy and fresh at a fair price. The arugula salad with salmon added and loaded potato soup are classic favorites. But always a new special to try too

Roasted Turkey sandwich on the croissant is out of this world. Chicken parmigiana on fresh pasta and sauce is also delicious. Portions are very robust. Hanna provided excellent service.

My wife and I go to this awesome place a lot and it's about bloody time I leave a review :) Absolutely love Five Loaves. Everything on their menu is incredibly healthy and delicious and love that they change their lunch special menu daily. You will feel healthy eating here. Their drink / cocktail menu is abundant too but best of all is the customer service. We are treated like family every time we go there. 3 Thumbs Up & 5 Stars from us.
